Peter Harper is an experienced advertising creative. His creative leadership includes work on blue-chip marketing brands at some of South Africa’s leading advertising agencies, including J. Walter Thompson, Grey, Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi. Peter Harpers’ three decades of experience shaped his ability to develop compelling conceptual narrative campaigns.A focus on filmmaking lead Peter to embark on a diploma in directing for film at New York Film Academy in NY. This period allowed him to merge his conceptual advertising expertise with cinematic storytelling.His career has taken him across the globe, working in dynamic and challenging markets for advertising agencies and marketing brands in the USA, Mauritius, London, Australia, Europe and South Africa. Recognizing the growing demand for innovation in visual content production, he founded Peter Harper Productions (PHP) in 2003. Offering a range of film and creative advertising services combined with innovative filming solutions.As the industry evolved into capturing footage from gimbaled stabilized cameras, Peter embraced the new technology and saw the increasing requirement for uniquely engineered ground based and aerial cinematography in film and commercial productions. This led Peter to become a licensed aerial cinematography director.Peter continues to push creative boundaries, adapting to industry demands while maintaining a commitment to compelling storytelling and technical excellence.
